Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen Directors Left Mappa Studios

Last Couple years, MAPPA Studios made its name with its high quality anime adaptations making headlines every week with its high quality animation. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 and Chainsawman were the industry hits during their broadcasting time.

The main reason why they left Mappa Studios? 

Sunhoo Park and Ryu Nakayama departed from Mappa Studios to launch their own animation studios. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 was released back in 2021 and became an instant hit. The same thing could be said for the Chainsaw Man Anime but it was released at the end of 2022.

Sunhoo Park works are not limited only to Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 while its true that he worked for like 10 episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen season 1.
